This question is for all film buffs. When i was a child I saw a movie about a ship that sunk and the only survivors climbed into a life boat. If i remember right, there were a lot of people on this small boat. So many people that at first, like four people had to float outside around the boat in shifts. One man is put in charge and he starts sending people out to see because they are running out of food and water. So he sends away the older people first. They may have had a criminal with them. But one by one, people are sent off into the ocean. They save the children and in the end they are rescued by a ship. I also want to say that the man in charge is not saved right away. He lets all the people in the lifeboat get on the ship but he stays because he knows he will tried in court for letting those people go. I thought the movie was Hitchcock's lifeboat, but i watched that and I was wrong. If anyone has any info on this movie I would appreciate it. I really like it when i saw it but i can't remember the name and would like to buy it.
