[Old time movie about strange sorority or reform school hazings.]

In the late 50's or early 60's, my wife and I both saw a movie on TV of a bizarre group of reform girls or sorority girls. It had 3 scenes that we both remember very well. (We were 10 at the time, not married yet!). One scene showed a bowl of live worms on a table. Then girls were blindfolded and fed spaghetti! Another scene had the girls slide into a swimming pool with a crocodile or alligator and swim out of the pool. Finally another girl had to scrub a big floor with a toothbrush. The plot may have involved a reporter going under cover to expose this place but I'm not sure of this. No actors names available. Time line maybe as late as 1961 when we saw it on TV so it had to be made before then.Any help greatly appreciated. We have been looking for over 40 years! Thanks, Schlumpf.
