  1. I would imagine Mr. Ron Howard, Mr. M. Scorcesse

    (spelling) and the like have large 56 inch (and above)

    televisions with which they view movies.

    A lot of us have 27' televisions and below.

    On such a "scaled-back" formatt (Letterbox)

    I can't see the damn movie. They argue letterbox retains the

    directors integrity. I ask, what about the actor's artistic work?

    I viewed the "Country Girl" and could not see the

    intensity of various expressions on the actor' s

    faces because my TV screen is only 27".

    One movie I viewed I couldn't distinguish who the

    actor was. If it's letterboxed, I won't watch it.
