I think that the movie a Stolen Life is a much better movie than Dead Ringer same theme but a much better plot? who directed each of those movies? What is the age difference of Betty Davis between the two movies because in Dead Ringer she looks a little older. tcmite

no I don't think that it is the uninvited. The title ended in Heights. Now I know it is not Weathering Heights (the Heathclif) story. Is there a movie perhaps Withering Heights if so what is it about?

This movie was about and old estate where a wealthy woman and her hand maid and staff lived. One night the wealthy woman and one of her staff women gave birth to babies. The baby of the wealthy woman died and the hand maid switched babies giving the wealthy woman the living baby and the staff woman the dead baby. The baby girl grew up to be a young woman who would come into her inheritance. By this time both the wealthy woman and the staff woman were deceased. Somehow the wealthy woman learned before she deceased that the baby was not the baby she gave birth to. So from the spirit world she began to haunt her by terrorizing her driving her to points of insanity, and trying to kill her at times. But, her birth mother also in the spirit world would protect her. She would know the good spirit from the bad by the scent of mamosa that would enter the atmosphere when her birth mother was around The only thing that I remember is that the woman who played the role as hand maid to Rebeca in the movie Rebeca also played as hand maid in this movie also. Please help!

What ever happened to Jane (lol)? When did she stop making movies, what was her last movie and when did she perish?
