  1. Hello all! Lots of reply with "Quiet man" as a guess, but I know that one almost by heart. I'm thinking it's definitely a 1930's because he looks soo soo young. I looked up many of his movies online but none ring a bell yet. I may just be renting alot of movies until I get the right one. I know they said in some of his early movies he went by Marion Mitchell or something close to that, so, I'm just going to have to do some more digging, but just incase, please keep the guesses coming and thank you all for your help! Sincerely, Crystal
  2. Thank you all for your input, I looked up the movie suggested but, until I watch it I don't think that's it, not sure. I do know he wore a cowboy hat at the end when he was carrying her off. (Kinda reminded me of my hubby, lol!) If anyone can nails this one I'd be too happy. Still, I'll check out The Big Trail, I like B-movies of all types anyhow and John Wayne is usually a bonus too.
  3. Ok, this is driving me nuts. I watched this movie I believe on TCM ( 3 am yrs ago), where a very young John Wayne has this thing for a girl. She's kind of independent and really doesn't swoon over him too much but he's chasin' after her. I think there's a part where he eats dinner at her house and also one where he peeks in her window??? I laughed my butt off at it because it's unlike John Wayne to have to try so hard for a girl, that's why I like this one. Anywho, at the end, either he or she is going to take a train outta town and of course, they end up together with him hauling her away from the train station in his arms. I thought I remember the bio the guy gives at the end saying it was one of John Waynes 1st movies. Any ideas? Thanks!
