  1. Ok, I'm sixteen now, but a few years back, there was this movie on television and it was in black-and-white, and I believe it was set in the 1950s, or was made in the 1950s or 60s. There's a boy, I can't recall is age (eleven, maybe?), and he has a younger sister, her name might be Sally, she's around the three-to-five age range. The boy is often talking to this teenage girl who smokes a lot, he has to sneak to see her. He and his little sister are under the care of a mean governess/babysitter-type of person; I can't remember if she's abusive or not, but I think she was. The main thing I remember about this movie is there was bathwater running and Sally was in it, and the governess was washing her, and I think she leaves her alone and you see a babydoll floating in the water, and then you see Sally floating in the water... and the governess comes back and is really scared when she sees Sally dead. It's just a really bizarre movie, and even though it freaked me out when I saw it, I still loved it but haven't seen it since. Is this too vague to figure out? I really would like to know the title! If you can help me at all, I'd appreciate it! Thanks! Jazz
