Monday, May2, 2AM, Pacific. One of my faves of all time, certainly among the five favorite movies of my life. La Nuit de Varennes, 1983, subititles. To bad in the middle of the night, or early morning in the East. A great movie. Jean-Louis Barrault, Marcel Mastrianni, Hannah Schygulla, Harvey Keitel, and more. Well, if you have a way of recording this, I would recommend it. Thanks -

There is a commercial with a jingle, it's a sandwich I think. The tune is from a famous soprano duet. Sung by an old man who is not a singer at all, it's soundl like blustery nonsense, but he manages to approximate the melody. one of the most bizarre things I have ever heard. Just found it, it's from the Flower Duet from LAKME (Delibes) EDITED next : a movie jingle that drives you crazy
