  1. Please can someone help me identify a movie that i saw years ago. I have been looking for the name and the actors in this movie for a long time. I understand that it was on TCM earlier this month (around Nov 3rd- but cant find a schedule for previous days this month). I saw this movie in my teens and only remember bits and pieces of the story. (Black & white) A shy, lonely, plain Jane meets a dashing blonde soldier and they have a world wind romance-she is rejuvenated by him and finally begins to live her life... he is called up to war and leaves her.. she is very depressed and waits a long time for him to return ... either she gave him or he gave her some kind of coin to remember them... anyhow ,she gets news of his passing and runs through the streets in the rain arriving at a large cathedral ,collapses on steps and is laid on the altar by an old priest .... please, please, please ...anyone who might know what this movie was ... or even one name of the actress or actor ... i will track it down ... thank you so very much !!!
  2. can anyne help me find the name of a movie i saw a long time ago. I only remember bits and pieces of this movie but would love to see it again. It is in black and white, during WWII. It is a love story about this very shy, lost woman who falls in love with a vivacious soldier. They have a world wind romance and then he is sent to war. He gives her a coin or she gives it to him i can not remember ... anyways ...the thing i remember the most is the ending where she hears that he is dead and she runs thru the rain and ends up at a cathedral ... she finds the coin ... i know it is all very vague and not nearly enough info.. but it has been years since i saw it and i cant not piece it all together. I figured that someone must have seen and loved this movie ... hoping you can help me ....thank you so much
