  1. Thank you, but no, it didn't. I've tried on my laptop (pop-up blocker turned off), my husband's laptop, and am still getting nothing at all. I can click on the 'Continue', but nothing happens. Tried on our phone and didn't get anything there either (what the heck is a 'submissions' tab???
  2. I can't seem to get to the game in the module! Since you all have played the game, I was wondering if you could help me? I see the screen where it explains how it is done, and I have clicked "continue" - but nothing happens. Is this supposed to direct me to another page, or open a link? I even tried 'Next", but that obviously directed me to "Week 1" Can anyone point me in the right direction??
  3. The clip (and of course, most of the movie - with the exception of Fanny Brice's "My Man" number) does indeed portray that "brighter perspective" that you talk about. Much of the movie is pure nostalgic escapism - I also venture to say that it is elevated nostalgic escapism. I guess what I mean by that is the subject matter itself deals very little with the common, everyday person. Specific to the clip: look at the sets and costumes (not a blemish, very regal, clean, and luxuriant) and even the props (look at that flower arrangement!) and the song they chose to feature is also very light-he
  4. Oh my, just one? Haha! Too difficult. Mine kind of fall into two camps: (1) some like 'Sound of Music' and 'Wizard of Oz' and 'Annie' that I grew up with, so I watch those for the nostalgia and I also enjoy sharing them with my children. (2) the ones I've discovered on my own that simply capture me for so many, many reasons. Some because of the wit and comedy, some because of the elaborate richness of the production, and others because of the catchy music. The best of these combine all of these!
