I grew up loving the strong female sings! Judy Garland was my idol! Summer Stock was my favorite. Seeing the change in her over the course of the movie. The songs were up beat and tried to fit in to a daily life. I remember as I young teenager my neighbors and I would plan to put on barn yard type of shows in our front yard. The musicals of that time made it look easy and that we could do it in real life too!
