Greetings all, just signed up here. Very excited to find that others are as geeky as I am, desperate to find the names of the movies whose scenes flit through our head unidentified. I'm sure this won't be the first time I put forth an inquiry!
Ok, I'm remembering a black and white film. I think perhaps it would have been considered a suspense or mystery. A young woman is married to an older man, and I think there is a child locked away in a closet or some such. The woman starts to fall for a man closer to her age but the husband (at least I think the older guy is her husband) is very obsessive over her every move... and he starts to do things to convince her she might be insane. Somewhere along the way daisies play a big role in it, I believe they are her favorite flower...and there is a big epic fire at the end of it, a la Rebecca type. I saw this many years ago and the memory of it has always intrigued me, I would love to at least know what it is in case it ever comes on tv again!
