1) This clip makes me feel light and fluffy. Ms. Held hasn’t a care in the world and she pulls you into her wide eyed world. 2) I would think that the movie musicals were a great escape from the reality of the Depression. 3) Pre-code, this movie might have been a little darker and more real.
