  1. I adore Maurice even more after seeing this clip! He is cheeky and sexy...seems "innocent" even when you know he is an absolute cad!
  2. In the first clip, it is Rose Marie who is confident, in control of situation, relationship...in second clip she is vulnerable and unsure. In both the Sargent keeps composed and strong, but shows his definite attraction to both sides of Rose Marie.
  3. 1. The scenery and clothes she wears onstage show such an innocence, a purity and hopefulness. Her song is charming and invites both the audience in front of her and in our viewing audience to "play with her"...to let leave cares behind and join in her lighthearted life. That she could be won over with the extravagance of flowers? Even the Bobbie at the opening of scene is cheery amongst the darkness of the foggy night. 2.
