  1. There was a novelty skater in There Goes My Heart (1938) named Horace G. Brown who resembles James Gleason. I suspect it was he who was skating during part of this segment. Watch a clip of it and I think you'll agree.
  2. I just went on Canvas and can find nothing about Mad about Musicals. I finished the course but my transcript says that I have completed nothing. I'm totally confused about how to get the certificate.
  3. One very quick comment: when Maurice Chevalier comments "the husband", I couldn't help but think of the subtitles so common to silent films to help orient an audience and wondered if Lubitsch used this being influenced by the previous style of filming.
