I love Myrna. She is funny and witty and captivating. She is definatly one of my favorites.

I love both of these movies. When ever I wach Random Harvest I always feel bad for Jean Peters though. The Women is great. The entire cast is wonderful and I always laugh til I get a pain in my side.

The only good thing about "The Opposite Sex" was how beautiful Ann Sheridan looked in those Edith Head gowns.
-
In the past when they re made a movie every ten years they often changed the story line. I saw the remake of One Way Passage yesterday and I hated it. I also hated the remake of Four Daughters for that reason.

The Major and The Minor, Bachalor Mother and Stage Door are my favorite non musical Ginger Movies. I am hoping to see Storm Warning and Vivacious Lady soon. I have seen quite a few that I didn't like so well also.

I have always liked classic movies. I became a classic movie fanatic when I was about 18 or 19. I am much older now.

Whn I lived in California I sang at the church were Jeanette McDonald was married. I don't know much about Jeanette or Nelson. This will be a good oppertunity for me to find out more.

Gloria DeHaven was stunning. I have always been envious of that beautiful head of thick hair. She had a beautiful singing voice also. I always wondered why she wasn't more popular.

Katharine Hepburn would be a good fit based on the character in the book.

Virginia O'Brien or Rosemary Clooney. I always thought I'd get to meet Rosemary someday.

I love this movie. I'd love to see it again. I liked the book also though it was quitre different and I am about 50-75 pages shy of finishing it. The movie was better though as the author seamed to be racist and it seeps through in a few places in the book.

TCm had Doris as Star of the month a few years ago. It was heaven to see some of her earlier films. Romance On The High Seas is one of my favorites. I wonder if TCM ever plays Storm Warning. I'd love to see that.

I'd be Ava Gardner because she was svelte and beautiful. It's superficial of me I know.

I'll have to ask my sister but I think it was the 1930's.

I liked The Wind Done Gone, but I see your point, also having never read Gone With The Wind I have no refrence point. I really couldn't decide weather or not I liked the book til I read the whole thing but the ending seemed to bring the whole thing together.

This is great news. I have always wanted to see Hands Accross The Table and I LOVE Mae West.
-
I like Kay Francis but I haven't seen many of her movies. My favorie is One Way Passage.

My sister has been trying to find then title of a movie she saw years ago. She doesn't know who's in it or much of the plot. It is about some girls pledging a sorority. One Girl is ashamed when her father shows up because they are working class and I think one girl contemplates suicide when she is rejected.

I beleive they did Rosalind Russell already but I missed most of it. I missed when Katharine Hepburn was star of the month also so I'd like to see that again.

I have to add No Time For Comedy to my list. I pretty much like everything Jimmy Stewart was in.

Half the lines in The Bribe are awful. It makes the film funny though.
Like when Edward Laughton drops the envelope with his x-rays and says "My X-ray pictures of my feet!! They cost me alot of money!"
Or when John Hodiak says "I used to fly in the sky like a guy."
