  1. I haven't seen The Citadel in its entirety yet. I love what I have seen. Aunty Mame and Gypsy are two of my favorites. I've also seen part of Under Two Flags and Flight For Freedom. I'd like to see all of those and My sister Eileen. The Velvet Touch is good. That was done by her production company I think. The only thing I have seen that I didn't like is Craig's Wife.
  2. People will probably think I'm nuts but I don't much care for Casablanca. not sure why.
  3. I love Roz. Life's A Banquet is one of my favorite Auto Biographies. I loved her in the comedic roles best. One of my favorite Roz films is No Time For Comedy with James Stewart. She is on of those people for whom I'd watch just about any movie as long as she was in it.
  4. There are a few actress that I like and a few that are very beautiful (Angela Bassett, Rosario Dawson & Qween Latifah) but not in the way the classic actress' were. Even the ones that now how to walk and talk and carry themselves still can not compare.
  5. I agree. (: Back on topic Hasel Brooks (Was she a brunette or Brownette?) Ella Rains
  6. One day I'll have to ask you how you cam to be a fan of Virginia's. I adore her and used to collect anything I could find on her. I am overjoyed that there are more Virginia fans here. I always thought she was beautiful and unique looking as well.
  7. > You should have no fear whatsoever that you'll ever > see yourself in a movie Leo. > > If this is a genuine fear Leo, please take heart that > we all fear seeing you in a movie more than you could > ever imagine. Now be a good boy and go back to AMC! > > Tom You are witty. (:
  8. I'd sing with Virginia O'Brien,
  9. Ava Gardner- to me she is perfection (if there is such a thing). She takes my breath away. Runners up would be Rita Hayworth, Joan Blondell, Peir Angeli, Hedy Lamarr, Myrna Loy and Linda Darnell.
  10. That's a toss up. I love them both.
  11. Imitation of Life- The seen in the hotel room with Jaunita Moore and Susan Kohner just kills me. Also Mahalia Jackson's voice could bring anyone to tears. These Three The Children's Hour Waterlou Bridge I Want To Live To Each His Own- it's more heartfelt than sad The Ending of The Loved One made me cry though the ending in the book was quite comical. There must be more . I love tear Jerkers
  12. Katharine hepburn Ava Gardner Myrna Loy Virginia O'Brien Rita Hayworth Cary Grant Robert Mitchum James Cagney Edward G Robinson
  13. Julie LaVerne in Showboat. I'm lame.
  14. Myrna Loy-Being and Becoming Roselind Russell-Lifes a Banquet
  15. Virginia O'Brien is my all time favorit but she isn't well known. Ava Gardner (The most beautiful creature aver). Myrna Loy, but I thought she was a red head.
