Margaret Mitchell's estate tried to stop the spoof The Wind Done Gone from being published. I wonder if they tried that when Scarlett came out?

Claire Trevor, Marjorie Main of Eve Arden.

Red Skelton and Ben Blue in jail after a fight in Panama Hattie:
Rowdy-Did you see me give that guy the old one three?
Red-What happened to two?
Rowdy-Two I got!

I'm glad to hear of someone else who does not like Vertigo. I love Hitch but was quite unimpressed with Vertigo

Billy Elliot
Gosford Park
Crash
Committed
LOTR
Wallace and Grommet (The Curse of The Were-Rabbit)

TOM CRUISE is by far the most annoying.
Also,
Michael Jackson
Janet Jackson
Nicole Richie
any Disney Channel celebrity expecially if they act and sing. I use those terms loosely of course.

I also read that Masha hunt was seriously considered for the role of Melanie. The fourth Lane sister (Loeta) was originaly to play Gail Page's part in Four Daughters, which would have made more sense.

1. Harvey
2. The Man Who Knew Too Much
3. Mr. Smith Goes To Washington
4. Come Live With Me (it's not the best movie but I love the part with the flash light)

I love the scene where he's baning the serving trays together. He is one of those people that just has an entertaining presence.
-
Bringing Up Baby and Shawshank Redemption.

I'll take a silent film over a John Wayne film any day unless it's The Quiet Man or Stage Coach (both of which are been shown on TCM).

I saw Crash recently for the second time. I love it. I got just as emotional the second time even though I new what was going to happen. For me Crash is just a powerful, thought provoking movie.
I saw The Umbrellas of Cherbourg on Christmas. I love this movie. It was beautiful and tragic. It reminded me of Splendor In The Grass a little.

I like High Society. I has Louis Armstrong. I am not a Grace Kelly Fan and I thought her delivery was a poor imitation of Kate, but I still really like the Film.

Four Daughters
Four Wives
Four Mothers (which is apperently in the TCM library but I have never seen it)
Meet The People

What's the name of the man who plays Henry Fonda's father in The Lady Eve? He's funny.

Also depending on my mood I have a problem with the ending of The Heiress. Part of me thinks Montgomery Cliff's character got his just desserts and part of my want's a happy ending.

I didn't like the Ending of These Glamour Girls because of what they did to Marsha Hunt's Character. You can do that to someone and not give more explanation. Plus it would have been nice to show some one being effected by what she did. It just seemed as if no one cared whuich was all the more sad.
I also didn't like that they didn't expand the relationship story between Red Skelton and Virginia O'Brien in DuBarry Was A Lady and Between Virgina and Ray Bolger in The Harvey Girls. For the latter I know why they couldn't expand the story. I wish I could see those deleted scenes of hers. I wonder what would have happened to Virginia's career had she not gotten pregnant at that time.

I also don't like Gone With The Wind. I love everyone in the cast but I hate the movie.

I haven't seen The Citadel in its entirety yet. I love what I have seen. Aunty Mame and Gypsy are two of my favorites. I've also seen part of Under Two Flags and Flight For Freedom. I'd like to see all of those and My sister Eileen. The Velvet Touch is good. That was done by her production company I think. The only thing I have seen that I didn't like is Craig's Wife.

People will probably think I'm nuts but I don't much care for Casablanca. not sure why.

I love Roz. Life's A Banquet is one of my favorite Auto Biographies. I loved her in the comedic roles best. One of my favorite Roz films is No Time For Comedy with James Stewart. She is on of those people for whom I'd watch just about any movie as long as she was in it.

Virginia O'Brien

There are a few actress that I like and a few that are very beautiful (Angela Bassett, Rosario Dawson & Qween Latifah) but not in the way the classic actress' were. Even the ones that now how to walk and talk and carry themselves still can not compare.

I agree. (:
