  1. I try to avoid looking at the screen. Don't find any of them attractive. Eddie wears good looking suits. So does Dave. Ben, not so much. I'm a leg man. Tiffany was easier to watch for me. I still miss her. Shallow on the part of TCM to remove her so soon, and dare I say, pull the plug on FilmStruck. Oh wait, Now Playing Guide too. Guess we are not on the same frequency. My agenda might be to point out how many times TCM has wronged me.
  2. It isn't instant. I suspect it takes 24 hours. It is there now.
  3. I Like Dave's voice the most. Then Eddie. Alicia and Ben tie for last place. As for talent, just Eddie. He doesn't bother me when it comes to personal opinion. The others do. Eddie adds value to the talk. He seems to stay on topic. The others seem to drop more personal feelings. The 2-3 minute segments, for me, are blah, blah, blah. I think Cigar Joe should get a guest host shot for Noir Alley, with Eddie. Not to discount anyone else. Joe seems absorbed/passionate with Noir. If Joe's avatar is real, perfect!
  4. Well spence, Bing as an actor and Frank as a singer. So, Bing, Frank, Elvis for acting. Frank, Elvis, Bing as singers. Not including Frank's, "I Sing The Songs" cover. Stinks like a dead skunk in the middle of the road.
  5. I don't know many on a personal level here. Some stick out like a sore thumb, and it is easy to notice a disturbance in the force. Sorry I didn't notice you were missing sewhite2000. Hope your Internet stays healthy.
  6. Suggesting a movie requires a different/separate user name and password. EDIT: I don't see a link to do this anymore. Only the link to sign up for email.
  7. The image suggests it is all Jane under that shirt. Also, more live Starz channels have been added to Sling TV.
  8. $5/MONTH FOR 3 MONTHS (LIMITED TIME OFFER) https://www.starz.com/ Scroll about halfway down.
  9. So Dargo, what did U ever do to you? 😁 Not sure about his roots, but he was born in Washington State: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/177053646/robert-osborne
  10. I didn't know about the TCM Underground part. I had to dig deep to find this: http://www.tcm.com/this-month/article/1484345|0/TCM-Underground-in-May.html I expected Mac and Me to be about computers.🖥️
  11. It seems awkward to me for TCM to have movies for Robert O's BD, then follow it with MAC AND ME, and THE GARBAGE PAIL KIDS MOVIE. Don't you think these young people films, if that's what they are, should not shown on the weekend?
  12. Maybe you are wondering why they are making fun in the first place.
  13. I don't think this happens anymore:
  14. I edited my previous post. Just like poor audio leveling, no one is taking on the digital responsibilities here. We are all expected to buy TV extras.
  15. My TV and cable box have just two settings. Basically, normal and zoom. Guess all modern TVs are the same. I cannot see using the zoom feature. It makes SD fill the screen left to right, making people fat. Also chops top and bottom. Using zoom in an ultra-widescreen presentation would just make Martin Scorsese angry. It fills top to bottom chopping the sides. Even worse than pan and scan. Guess I don't think your reply all the way through. My bad. EDIT: Part of the problem is ongoing support for SD. My cable, for example, all the channels below 700 are SD. With widescreen, the aspect ratio stays SD, giving that miserable picture box when there is black all the way around. I think picture box is what it is called. The industry has issues. Big ones.
  16. Okay, I'll bite. What does that mean MovieCollectorOH, "I know I don't?"
  17. If you say so. I will not dispute. That isn't nice. Some don't care for The Unsinkable Molly Brown. I love the film. I am guessing there are so many greats that play out better on stage. There was a production of Fiddler On The Roof using my middle school multi-purpose room. A very modest but beautiful production. When I was very young, my mother had a tiny roll in "Anything Goes." It was done at my elementary school. I would love to see TCM show the Broadway performance of Victor/Victoria. I have it on DVD, but the Blu-ray seems to be nonexistent these days.
  18. I looked this up and it was filmed in Eastern Oregon and Southern California. You have to wonder when reading the title of the film. Gee, what's that about? The primary actors don't really sound like musical stars to me. Don't believe I've seen the film, except by dropping in on TCM while it is on. Now I'm curious to see it. Can't be worse than Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, which didn't appeal to me, including the big dance scene. I lived briefly in The Mother Lode, you know, home of The Jumping Frog Jubilee. On a personal note TopBilled, you only seem to list titles from either TCM or Starz. Do you not see any other sources for classic movies? Just curious.
