  1. They need to issue an updated DVD for this classic like they recently did with "The Forbidden Planet." Any one hear any plans for this?????
  2. "A Night With the Opera" I love the scene when on the boat when Groucho is ordering food, "...and two hard boiled eggs." I also love the scene when Chico comes up on Groucho with his foot on Lassparri all the way up to the "Sanity Clause."
  3. Actually, it's the "50th Anniversary Special Edition." There is also a "Collector's Edition" with a metal case, a Robbie figure, and copies of the theatre cards.
  4. I recently picked up a reissue of "Forbidden Planet" on DVD. Warner did a great job with the extra information - deleted scenes, extra films/TV shows with Robbie, extra scenes, trivia, etc. However, I don't know if they did anything to the film itself. I'm about to find out now. Has anyone heard of whether there are any plans to give "The Thing From Another World" the same treatment? 'The Thing' has to be one of my favorite movies of all time. at least in the top 10. There is just something about that movie that allows me to watch it again, again and again and never get tired of it.
  5. Cary Grant and Carole Lombard get my vote. "In Name Only," while an otherwise great movie, only hinted at what the pair could have done together. Remember the scene when they first meet while she is trying to fly fish? There are a few funny lines in that scene only that left you wanting for more.
  6. "The Awful Truth" - this movie is an absolute riot!
  7. Finally. There is just something about Carole Lombard. The more DVDs the better.
