Thank you so much! When I saw the title Lost Angel, I didn't connect it with what I always called The Littlest Professor! TCM is not planning to show it, but I'll try ebay. Thank you, again!

I saw this movie about 20+ years ago, and I thought it was called The Littlest Professor. In trying to find it now, there is no info on any film with that title anywhere. The basic story is that an adorable little girl (I thought it was Margaret O'Brien, but movie not listed in her filmography) is being raised by professors/scientists in a closed environment. She is given extensive lessons daily (sort of like computer input), but no form of carefree fun or fantasy of any kind. I think the little girls name is Alpha. One day, a news reporter interviews the girl and she becomes enamored with him. She somehow follows him home. He has a girlfriend that is a singer in a club (I think). I don't remember how it all works out. I would love to see this film again, so if anyone knows the title, I would greatly appreciate the info. Thanks!
