Hmm, isn't that the demographics for the website rather than the TV channel?

>Yup, happened to me!!! And now I have to remember to set it back MYSELF when the time really changes (sigh)... We will bring in some crisis managers and grief counselors to help everyone through the change-over on Sat/Sun.

>If you had read any literature about current teaching techniques in the English field, you would know that statistics and studies have shown that the inclusion of film with history and English has proven to get students more interested in these respective fields of study. High schools are looking to start film-lit programs for this reason. This wasn?t allowed when I was in school in the ?50s. We had to study Shakespeare and Poe novels and examine the stories by these people. In high school we boys were supposed to read ?The Red Badge of Courage? and write a book report about it, but we had to pretend the movie version didn?t exist. I?ve never read the book and I don?t want to. I?m dyslexic, and it?s difficult for me to read anything, especially slow-moving novels. I later went into documentary film making as a career, but such things weren?t taught during my 14 years of schooling. The best thing I learned in school was how to type, which was the only formal school education I actually used in life. I made a lot of money typing, but no money with math, biology, chemistry, or English literature. I always thought it was a little silly to study the alleged ?cleverness? of ?The Purloined Letter?, since in the 20th Century a person?s desktop is the first place police search for evidence.

I don't know the percentages of the ages. Maybe someone else would know. As far as TCM on the air is concerned, this past year they ran a few special programs designed to attract young viewers, teenagers and younger, such as "Funday Night at the Movies." See this: http://www.tcm.com/thismonth/article/?cid=173375 This is the age group that show was aimed at: http://www.tcm.com/photogallery/index/?cid=174031

Traditionally, I don' t think TCM has advertised specifically for a special demographics. We tend to be all kinds of people here. Lately, TCM has done some ads for younger people, but some of the old-timers don't like them. Do you have to target a specific demographic group for your project?

I woke up this morning to find that two of my VCR units had changed to Standard time, because they were programmed to do that on this day of the year. But the actual change has been changed to some other date of the year. Doh. So check to see if your VCRs have the proper time this morning.
