  1. In response to the previous post, another fantastic Korngold score.
  2. I remember the good old days when we would tape basketball games and movies off TV. I can remember pausing during commercials so we wouldn't have to sit through them again. We must have had hundreds of movies that we taped over the years. It's funny now, but I used to get so frustrated when I would put a movie in and it would be at the end credits because I didn't rewind last time I watched. We still have a few tapes around that we couldn't part with. I wonder what they'll come up with next. We switched over to DVD and now we're gradually going to Blu-ray. I don't see the point in buying the same movie over and over. I'll most likely stop at Blu-ray.
  3. Charlie Chaplin Next: An actor who was first a model
  4. The Great Smoky Mountains ❤️ Next: Your favorite restaurant
  5. I've only seen a few of Sinatra's films, but I love his music. But I do have to say not quite as much as Dino.
  6. Harold and Maude Next: A movie where a will is read
  7. Creature from the Black Lagoon Next: Another horror/sci-fi from the 1950's
  8. Jim Rockford Next: Favorite miniseries
  9. Doris Day was in Do Not Disturb with Rod Taylor.
  10. Twister has its share of flaws, but it's still the best tornado movie to date. I love the low rumbling of the strings that give the feeling of strong winds. By the way, a couple years ago I was in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and went to a place called Hollywood Star Cars. I saw dozens of movie cars, but I also saw the first Dorothy truck, and a Dorothy was on board. 🌪️
  11. How about this guy? Lee Marvin has always been a tough actor in my opinion, but not too tough to show his emotions. In real life he was a Marine and more proud of that than his movie career. I believe he is buried in Arlington.
  12. There seems to be a correlation between smoking and cool. Bogart and Newman knew how to smoke cool. Any actor that can talk without losing his/her cigarette is cool.
