One of my all-time favorite soundtracks is the original Planet of the Apes. It's so unique and the instruments Goldsmith uses really sets the mood. I don't like the Tim Burton remake, but the soundtrack is pretty good. Different.

Great intro for a movie. It introduces you to the man the movie is about, so you know what you're in for. It's quick and to the point. Scott thought it was a bad idea to put his monologue in the beginning, but I disagree. What an actor! -
