Labyrinth?

They weren't really men until Millie (Eleanor Powell) got hold of them, but seven is correct. Question: What mode of transportation is featured in the film "Strangers on a Train?"
-
That was the second Raiders movie. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. The movie that I found most disgusting was "Last House on the Left." Although it didn't have all the gut-wrenching gore of other films, it didn't strike me as having any redeeming value - just sick. Add to that all of the hype... "It's only a movie!" Hah! Just barely.

Not to be picky or anything, but was it Lorne Greene or is there a Leon Greene?
-
Ronald Reagan and Nancy Davis Reagan?

Sorry, Ralph. In an earlier post, I called you Fred. MEA CULPA, MEA CULPA, MEA CULPA! I appreciate your support. Charlie

I think Maine lobsters swim in from Nova Scotia. And boy, are their claws tired! I figure that Cary Grant was a thief catcher in that one. Question: In "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers," how many Pontipee boys were there? Clue: Their names were Adam, Benjamin, Caleb, Daniel, Ephriam, Gabriel and Frankincense. (There warn't no names in the Bible that started with "F" so Mama named him Frankincense 'cause he smelled so sweet.)

It might not be the one your are looking for, but Irene Dunne and Cary Grant starred together in a film titled "The Awful Truth" that has a small get-together near the beginning in which tensions are created when she is late returning from another city in the company of her voice teacher and he is found out to not have spent the past few weeks in Florida as he claimed in the letters he had sent to her. The suspicions send them to divorce court and they spend the ensuing sixty days waiting on the divorce finalizing and making each other miserable enough to fall in love all over again. Wow, was that all one sentence? Like I said, this may not even be close to the one you are thinking of, but it was shown on TCM on Feb. 12th, if I remember correctly. It this is not the one, then, to quote SNL's Emily Littella, "Nevermind."

Was it Orson Welles, Fred?

You are so right, Fred. They don't seem to get it. Charlie horse? What a pain. Must be a horse of a different color. Question: What color was the mass-produced food product everyone ate in the movie "Soylent Green?" A real stumper - eh, Fred?

You've caught me, jarhfive. I got the idea for this thread from watching Jeopardy. Occasionally, they have a category that has really stupid answers to obvious questions. I guess it's sorta like thinking "inside the box." Question: "In Old Chicago" is set in what Mid-Western city?
-
YES!!!! Now you're rolling. Feel free to ask any brain(non)teaser that you want. Question: What were the POW's forced to build in "The Bridge on the River Kwai?" CharlieT

Clash of the Titans?

The answer was indeed John Wayne. I'm glad that the idea finally got through. It's supposed to be a "no-brainer." The fun comes from the phrasing of the question. Try this one: Question: What happens at the end of "Lassie Come Home?" CharlieT
-
Wrong. That was a slightly different question. Don't make this too hard. Clue: Who's buried in Grant's tomb?

Sword and the Sorcerer?

There are so many knowledgeable and expert posters here that I was hoping to start something that anyone could answer. It's just for fun and hopefully some of you will enjoy it for what it is. Question: What actor was in more John Wayne films than any other actor? CharlieT

Bring Me the Head of Diego Garcia. The Sons of Katie Elder. The Trouble with Harry. Close?

Call of the Wild?

People Will Talk is in a 3-way tie with Arsenic and Old Lace and The Bishop's Wife for me... closely followed by The Philadelphia Story, Bringing Up Baby and An Affair to Remember. Wait... Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House... and His Girl Friday. Don't forget Penny Serenade and Holiday. And that is DEFINITELY my favorite Cary Grant movie.

Kelly's Heroes?

Maybe too obvious, but is it "Mrs. Miniver?"
