Wild Life by Wings -Dec 1971
A weak beginning for Paul McCartney's second band.
That's the impression I had... perhaps I heard ti years ago and was unimpressed... for some reason I did not buy it!
Inspired by above review, listening to:

Lennon comes up with his second masterpiece
Another great record, couldn't agree more.

I think you will agree, oddly compelling
It's not bad; I've heard of them. Reminds me of 70s Glam.

Lennon gives us the one of the most raw and powerful albums of all time.
Somehow, LENNON was co-produced perfectly by PHIL SPECTOR another crazy genius; the perfection of this album is why LENNON remained loyal to PHIL... for a while. Plastic Ono Band is one of the greatest records yet!

I own that one, (along with every single McCartney solo album) I will give that a listen and review it in the next few days.
If I ever listened to it, I don't remember it. Wildlife was the only WINGS album I didn't own. Looking forward to your review.

Apparently at that time in the throes of addiction... not to tea.

I agree it is better than McCartney and certainly better than Red Rose Speedway, though they have their spots.
I still listen to it.
And yet, nobody mentions Wildlife ... or owned it...!

Ram by Paul and Linda McCartney -May 1971
Without doubt, the one PAUL album I have continued to love and listen to... I had almost all of his WINGS and solo on vinyl up to McCARTNEY II. Then I gave up; but I never gave up on Ram.

Glad to see you mention Bjork. Seems you either love/hate her music. I belong to the former group. Collected most of her albums and listened to her for quite a few years. She gave an amazing performance at the Garden years back that I luckily attended. All kinds of cool instruments both old and new as well as a range of performers.
I think she was with a band called SUGAR CUBES which I saw in NY open for... PETER GABRIEL? Can't remember...

CROSSIN DELANCEY (1988) was on TCM at 2:30am EST. I had just seen it in the last few months... and stayed up and watched it again. I like it better each time I look at it.

Probably "Jealous Guy" or "Oh My Love". When JOHN is tender, he is special.
