BILLIE HOLIDAY Lady in Satin

^ Cool. I might have 200 LPs left, but most my vinyl is long gone.

The "butcher block" cover didn't last a full day for sale at USA retailers. It was so rare people were peeling off the trunk cover to see if the butcher block was underneath (almost never was). That cover is legendary for that album. I never had one. You're listening to vinyl?

I saw JUDY COLLINS perform it about 10 years ago in Spring Lake, NJ. No one can top the BEATLES.
-
My favorite BEATLES album is Rubber Soul. I read at wikipedia that these 4 tracks were removed for the USA release: "Drive My Car", "Nowhere Man", "What Goes On" and "If I Needed Someone" ... even missing, a great album with a couple of HELP! tracks that had been removed were USA issued on Rubber Soul. Wow. "In My Life" is probably my favorite song also...certainly my favorite LENNON. I love BETTE MIDLER's version.
-
Absolutely right. The British release of HELP! is far superior. I do like the James Bond style guitar riff, supposedly written by LENNON, on the USA opening track.

I'm listening to this because of your review of the American release which has some of these. THE BEATLES Beatles For Sale

I believe SPECTOR was thrown through a windshield in the mid 70s, his scalp was nearly torn off. After that, he got much crazier. And wore crazy wigs to hide scars. -

Exactly its story. Filled with tiny hand shaped waffle cone chunks dipped in orange flavored Russian chocolate floating in Peach and Mint ice cream with a marshmallow swirl

"On Green Dolphin Street" is on Disc 2 of the NANCY WILSON collection I'm listening to. The whole compilation is wonderful! You made me think of listening to NANCY.

I usually see those first two movies around Christmas time... on one o' them channels. I like both of those silly movies. Trump bullied the producers when they wanted to shoot that scene in the hotel I guess he owned at the time.

Probably my favorite BEATLES single, and one of JOHN's best early efforts.

A very talented musician and producer, crazy as they come, tragic, he gives sad final justice for LANA CLARKSON. -
