  1. THE SOUND OF MUSIC Any STAR WARS excepting the first 3 are fun... but I think that was enough, it's kid stuff, and the films take themselves more and more seriously.. That's silly. BEETLEJUICE
  2. I thought TCM had show THE HOT ROCK numerous times. I caught a few moments of 10, and laughed at what I saw. RAGE I had never seen and watched only a small part; I did not care for it. SUPER COPS I think they've shown before. None are particularly novel for the channel as far as content. Now. All of the movies you mentioned are hardly offensive, welcome to catch a glimpse of and thank goodness they weren't the usually over-repeated showings. Who decides what's classic? Heck! Each film you mention is at least 40 years old...! What's the criteria?
  3. He is nice to listen to... never bought a record of his. He is a bit nasal...
  4. I have a lot of LES PAUL with and without MARY FORD... this might be my favorite though, just LES :
  5. I think that's why he says he doesn't need it... prefers SoCal... ?
  6. ...or PATRICIA NEAL... or BRANDON DeWILDE or MELVYN DOUGLAS...
  7. We have that over at Badmovies. I admit, I didn't realize right away with all that thar deference who's birthday it was...
  8. I have cool one-of-a-kind snapshots that are not from public events, but backyard pool parties or lunch dates or get togethers where the likes of RICK NELSON or TONY DOW or BOB DENVER or KENT McCORD or GRANT WILLIAMS turned up, nice clear peeks at real living that are also great candids... in case anybody wants to break in and steal these value-less treasures, I also have a ring that looks like a diamond but is a diamelle... have at it!
  9. ^ Where's the MOODY BLUES? That is way more annoying...
  10. Great record. Reminds me why my eyes always hurt from rolling listening to MOODY BLUES.
  11. All brands of prejudice have been going on since the Dawn of Man. America has been aware of its own prejudices through all of its history. It is, however, about timing, relevance, and truth. We are getting there.
  12. If you are a record lover of that era, you might enjoy checking it out at YouTube. I really like it. It's so stupidly inept and a huge waste.
  13. Prescient in the way she responded to how she was addressed by the media at the time, as she also un-popularly addressed racism... with the monkey puppets popping out of a mushroom, just like she had done at the beginning of the video... "You kill me for living my life." It foretells our time of "wokeness".
  14. Yes, and what does it all mean? Bad acid epileptic fit... NEIL was always a true original.
  15. JOSEPH CALLEIA... ALAN MOWBRAY... MELVILLE COOPER... and ALAN HALE!!! HALE appeared in a few of ERROL FLYNN's of course... what a splendid pair!
  16. That's nice... I was never a big fan of THE MOODY BLUES though I owned Days Of Future Past and Long Distance Voyager.
