  1. Not sure what it might say about your mood, but it says you have good taste.
  2. Interesting topic. ELVIS is mesmerizing to me when he's performing, acting I'd give it to FRANK easily, and BING was as unique and important a singer.
  3. ...is a lot of fun, the best being MAMIE VAN DOREN JACKIE COOGAN and JERRY LEE LEWIS... a "naughty" film that is downright innocent.
  4. STAR IN THE NIGHT (1946) starring the wonderful J.CARROL NAISH TCM shows it often in December.
  5. That's correct, and PETER SELLERS reportedly hated that inclusion himself. I see your point, particularly the title character. However, there are other remarkable performances. SELLERS is also remarkable as Claire Quilty, but KUBRICK films after SPARTACUS are quite detached and then maybe uniquely his own vision despite performances.
  6. I don't think of it as a PETER SELLERS film. I think of it as a STANLEY KUBRICK film. Same with LOLITA, which includes favorite JAMES MASON. KUBRICK film.
  7. Darn! I thought of actor's final films and immediately thought of BEING THERE (1979) the only film of PETER SELLERS' that I love.
  8. I am a fan. Of course, he became so famous because of his Peanuts work and will be remembered a long time because of it.
  9. I recognized him, ears and all, right away. I did not remember he was in it. I had watched that slop long ago for MAMIE VAN DOREN and JERRY LEE LEWIS. Hell, even JACKIE COOGAN is in there! 'Course I honestly did not care the lead was RUSS TAMBLYN, whom I like!
  10. I think THE KINKS last appearance on UK charts... was Village Green...? Look what I found: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Kinks_discography#Albums
  11. I have seen the whole film, did not remember LANDON in there, and of course spotted him at the very end in the "fight scene". The movie is fun... and silly! Thanks for the answer!
