  1. George Eastman (and Angela Vickers and Alice Tripp) in A PLACE IN THE SUN ...(SHELLEY WINTERS underwater again - probably the first time her character winds up...)
  2. For a moment there in the mid-80s that movie got a lot of buzz. I haven't heard anyone talk about it in decades. That is a wonderful film.
  3. ^ 'nough of that... SLY AND THE FAMILY STONE There's A Riot Goin' On
  4. Saw RAUL JULIA on stage in NYC in Man Of LaMancha. With SHEENA EASTON. I was ther for RAUL JULIA, another favorite.
  5. JACK CASSIDY is greatly disliked by a few people I know. I secretly enjoyed seeing him on Columbo the other night... LINDA DARNELL was a goddess. My all time favorite lady.
  6. I just watched the first episode of ADAM-12 where the series sets up a dynamic between Pete Malloy and Jim Reed. It may be MARTIN MILNER's voice when he talks into the squad-car radio but it sure is NOT KENT McCORD... his voice was dubbed by somebody who did not sound like him at all!
  7. COOL! I own an original still of that "smiling ghost" behind cobwebs...! He sher looks SPOOKY!
  8. E. POWER BIGGS Bach Toccata & Fugue; Passacaglia & Fugue; Pastorale; Prelude & Fugue
  9. I can relate to "pet peeves". I am no fan of long lists. I think one at a time is best so everyone gets a chance. A list...? 🤨
  10. It seemed to me that everyone I thought of (a laundry list) had already been mentioned (except my very first - VIVIEN LEIGH - who suffered 20 years of illness before death younger than I am now). I have made the same mistake numerous times on forums - or not as likely after 4 or 5 pages to maybe read all.
  11. THELMA RITTER to JIMMY STEWART in REAR WINDOW : "Any of those bikini bombshells you're always watching worth a red-hot poker?"
  12. KATHERINE HEPBURN and HENRY FONDA had not even met before they made ON GOLDEN POND.
  13. JACK LEMMON and LEE REMICK in DAYS OF WINE AND ROSES both nominated for Oscars.
