  1. The best death scenes are the ones you never see you just know they are going to happen. Ronald Colman in "A Tale of Two Cities" and Norma Shearer in "Marie Antoinette".
  2. "Sister Kenny" with Dean Jagger also a great Rosalind Russell movie and was her personal favorite.
  3. To me there is only one and he was a smile on the face of the earth! Will Rogers Sr.
  4. I think Edward G. Robinson is kind of big, in more ways than one. Love him in "Larceny Inc."
  5. I love Greer Garson! She's in some of the most tearful movies ever. "Good-bye Mister Chips" with Robert Donat, "The Miniver Story" with Walter Pidgeon and "Random Harvest" with Ronald Colman. Great movies, great actress!
  6. I would pick "My Favorite Wife" with Cary Grant & Irene Dunne. Need I say more?
  7. I like "Gentleman Jim" with Alexis Smith and Ward Bond. It's one of my favorites.
  8. A movie I'm really fond of is "Enchantment" with David Niven, Teresa Wright, Farley Granger and Evelyn Keyes. Child actors in this movie are Peter Miles and Gigi Perreau. I cry every time I watch it.
  9. I think you could add Stewart Granger, Gary Merrill, Glenn Ford and Fred MacMurray to the list. At least I would! But you're right by far Ronald Colman has the best. Yes, George Sanders is right up there. Not only does he have a great voice, he's one of the best movie Cads of all time! (He's nothing more than a perfumed parlor snake)
  10. Although Cary Grant is my favorite male actor and there are several other male actors that I like for one reason or another, my heart goes to Glenn Ford. He's a real man and I just love those dimples. (The sheepman) is one of my favorite Glenn Ford movies. Message was edited by: mrssippy
  11. Here are some other couples that I think were great together: Melvyn Douglas & Greta Garbo Michael Wilding & Anna Nagel Errol Flynn & Alexis Smith
