Who'll Stop the Rain is definitely my must-see movie of today. The crackerjack screenplay was written by Robert Stone, based on his own novel Dog Soldiers.

That's true, he was hardly a tough guy, but I am always glad to see him show up in a film. My favorites are the helpful friend of new parents Cary Grant and Irene Dunne in Penny Serenade and the drunken judge in Ride The High Country.
I felt awfully bad for that drunken judge. What a no-win situation in which to find oneself .

I'm going to edit my OP because I ended up watching My Fair Lady last night after The Shop Around the Corner. I really wasn't planning to; I've probably seen it 30 times.
In the movie theater (I was there for several showings), the biggest laugh always came at the words "Come on, Dover - move your bloomin' arse!"

Considering this is pre-silicone implants (pre-1960), the poster artist REALLY exaggerated. The lady in white has impossibly-large brea

All that matters to me is that an actor comes off as authentic (as it relates to the character and not just that character's ethnicity).
Brando as a Mexican revolutionary comes to mind. Masterful performance.
