  1. As someone who works in law enforcement, that makes me sick.
  2. I was just thinking about him the other day. I used to have such a crush on him when I was younger. I'm glad he got to live such a long life. RIP Mr. Rall.
  3. Oh no! I hope you're okay! πŸ™‚ My day was busy, busy, busy! I work in a prison. It's really hard to help keep a prison running smoothly during a pandemic, lol.
  4. I watched "Bridal Suite" last night with Robert Young and a French actress named "Annabelle". It's not a very good movie, but I love it. Robert Young plays a rich playboy, (as always lol), who forgets to go to his wedding again. His father cuts him off until he gets his act together. His mother, who always babies him, decides to take him to a psychiatrist in Switzerland to have him diagnosed with amnesia so his bride will take him back. While in Switzerland, he falls in love with the young woman running the inn, (played by Annabelle). It can get really stupid at times, but it's suc
  5. Ooh I wish they would just leave the 3rd Godfather movie alone and just pretend that it never happened in the first place. It wouldn't be enough just to change the ending, in my opinion anyway. πŸ˜’
  6. Robert Young: Smiley! (Though sadly, not so much in real life 😞).
  7. Tee hee. Well, I don't actually hate them or anything. I'm just not a fan of them and can't exactly see what others might see in them. I guess I could say for the ones that I said "there's just something about them that I don't like", I should have put down that I don't find them attractive. It seemed a little insulting to have put that down though, lol. πŸ™‚ I can usually separate what the actor has done in his personal life from themselves as an artist, but wife beating is something that I just can't look past. I grew up in a violent home and just knowing that they would do such a th
  8. You know what, I think you guys are right about it being Audrey Totter. Ann's eyebrows are more curved.
  9. Ooh. Same here. I'll add both those to my list as well.
  10. I'm sure I'm going to get some heat for this, but here goes! 😜 1. Fred MacMurray (Comes across as a bit gruff/arrogant) 2. Kirk Douglas (I don't understand the appeal) 3. Spencer Tracy (There's just something about him that I don't like) 4. John Wayne (Can't act!) 5. Sean Connery (Unapologetic wife beater) 6. Deborah Kerr (Kinda, sorta comes across as a bit snobbish) 7. Burt Lancaster (I don't understand the appeal) 8. Jane Wyatt (Same as Deborah Kerr)
  11. Has anyone else seen this movie? I just watched it yesterday. It was so good! I can't believe it only got 6.4 out of 10 stars on IMDB. I mean, I guess I can kind of see why. The story line is pretty far-fetched and it's a bit too silly at times, but it's such a sweet movie. It's a nice, feel-good, light-hearted drama. Wallace Beery plays a guy who's always having to one-up his fellow buddies in the navy. He brags about his "son" who doesn't even exist. When he runs into a young man, (played by Tom Drake), he "adopts" him without telling him and coaxes him into joining the navy along
  12. I guess I'm late to the thread, but here's my list of favs: (Of course I can't choose a favorite, lol). πŸ™‚ 1. Holiday (1938) 2. It Happened One Night (1934) 3. You Can't Take It with You (1938) 4. Ball of Fire (1941) 5. Roman Holiday (1953) 6. Married Before Breakfast (1937) 7. Bridal Suite (1939) 8. Lady Be Good (1941) 9. Slightly Dangerous (1943) 10. I'll Be Yours (1947) 11. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (1954) 12. It Had to Be You (1947)
  13. I'm kind of on a Robert Young kick now. I watched two of his movies this week. "The Toy Wife" was AWFUL!!! There were so many cringe-y moments, I could barely stomach it! Definitely one of his worst movies out there. 😞 The other one was "Married Before Breakfast". I'm a sucker for silly, romantic, comedies. This one did get a bit too stupid at times, but overall I loved it. Robert Young seemed to do very well at slapstick comedies. πŸ™‚
