  1. Today marks the 60th anniversary of Clark Gable's death, so post your thought on the legendary actor.
  2. Awww,...I found out about his death a few hours ago on Fox News. A fascinating, dashing, and charming actor who will be greatly missed.
  3. Last week, I watched a 1966 movie titled, "The Doomsday Flight" with John Saxon in it. He portrayed George Ducette, a handsome, arrogant movie star. Created by the late Rod Seeking, the movie was about a bomb planted on a plane by deranged engineer, causing fear in passengers and flight staff.
  4. Does anyone remember the late John Saxon, best known as Roper in the 1973 movie, Enter The Dragon, and also known as Lt Donaldson in the Nightmare on Elm Street movies? Throughout the 70s and 80s, he made numerous guest appearance on popular TV shows such as Falcon Crest, Fantasy Island, Dynasty, and The Rockford Files, just to name a few. What I admire about the late actor is his commanding, strong onscreen presence, as well as his ability to play any role with skill and confidence,
  5. My favorite western list is: Chisum Guns at Fort Petticoat True Grit Joe Kidd
  6. Yes I agree, Lori Anne. Back then as kids, some of us took classic movies/TV shows for granted but now, we truly appreciate them. Times were definitely simpler back then, no doubt.
  7. Jackie Cooper, Judy Garland, Deanne Durbin, Jane Withers (she is still with us), Shirley Temple, just to name a few of my favorites.
  8. Hi everyone, and I want to thank the administrators for allowing me to join the TCM message board😀. My interest in classic movies has been a part of me for many years. When I was a child, mom used to tell me stories about stars of the 30s, 40s, and 50s, and when I grew older, I would go to the library and bring home stacks of books on stars--Clark Gable, Judy Garland, Lana Turner, etc. Being invited to this message board would give me a chance to learn from those of you are experienced and to share my knowledge of a class of people who kept us viewers entertained for so many years.
