I am new to this group, so I am sorry that my first post has to be negative. I found it when I Googled information on TCM's new Monthly Schedule format. JoeM, I don't agree with you that surely people will adjust to the new format. Or, if we do, it is only because we are forced to do so. I miss seeing what the various themes were, both daytime and prime time. At a glance, I could see if the topic was one of interest to me, say "Pre-Code Musicals" or "Billy Wilder's Birthday." (Tonight's seems to be "Cowardly Sheriffs.") Why do the programmers bother to have themes if they can't be expressed? More dumbing down, it seems to me. TCM viewers are obsessed with good movies, and the more information you give us, the happier we are. Someone at HQ must understand that!
