  1. Capucine. I remember the name but not the actress. Next: EYES LEAVE TRACES )1952) OBSESSION (1954) EL CID (1961) NEVADA SMITH (1966) A TIME TO DIE (1982)
  2. She is not familiar to me, but I believe you are correct. I was looking for Patrick Gorman or Robert Phalen. Nevertheless....you're up.
  3. He really got it in BONNIE AND CLYDE, but I always remember him being the climatic death in UNFORGIVEN. Next: Ralph Meeker
  4. Several death scenes but the one that I actually remember is FROM HERE TO ETERNITY (1953) when, I think, Ernest Borgnine kills him in a fight. Next: Eva Marie Saint BTW, she's still alive at the age of 96-97. Good for her!
  5. Faye Dunaway Next: THREE DAYS OF THE CONDOR (1975)
  6. I think this is right, Terrence. DeCamp played Cagney's (as George M. Cohen) mother in the film. I believe there's a reference to his mother's death in the movie, but no specific scene showing it. Good enough. You're up.
  7. We are looking for an actor with 2 Oscar nominations and 1 win.
  8. You did it again, Peebs! I looking for Bob Newhart with Aniston in HORRIBLE BOSSES (2011) and with Darin in 1962's HELL IS FOR HEROES. 49 years apart.
  9. Elizabeth Allan Next: THE RITZ (1976)
  10. Faye Dunaway. She appeared with McQueen in 1974's TOWERING INFERNO and with Biel in THE RULES OF ATTRACTION (2002).
  11. John Fiedler....a ubiquitous face, persona and voice in films and tv. NEXT: THE SILVER DARLINGS (1947) DULCIMER STREET (1948) A RUN FOR YOUR MONEY (1949) BEN HUR (1959) EXODUS (1960)
  12. I looked at LE DIVORCE. How could I have missed Leslie Caron? I'm not much of a Hudson fan and have only watched a few of her movies, but Caron would have jumped off the page.....if I'd looked. Sheesh.... I knew more about AN AMERICAN IN PARIS than LE DIVORCE. I invented this game and I'm awful at it.
  13. Rip Torn.....I didn't know this. I don't remember his character. Next: PRETTY POISON (1968)
  14. MY DARLING CLEMINTINE (1946) dies from gun shot. Next: Rosemary DeCamp
  15. Help! Oscar Levant was in only 15 movies. The last, I believe in 1955. Kate Hudson's first was around the turn of the century...almost 45 years later. You'd think there was one youngster in a Levant film that was a geezer in a Hudson flick. I can't find one. You're too good at this game.
  16. Peebs, you're the best. I try to come up with a good one and you find a connection I didn't see! I had the common actor as Sharon Stone. 1981's DEADLY BLESSING with Borgnine and 2019 in THE LAUNDROMAT with Oldman.....the latter, IMHO, was a folly of a film.
  17. Julian Sands. Recognizable face, but his name was unfamiliar to me. I good test for this game. Kudos! Next: EAT MY DUST (1976) TWILIGHT (1998) MY DOG SKIP (2000) AUSTIN POWERS IN GOLDMEMBER (2002) CINDERELLA MAN (2005)
  18. You first. LOL. I think that was real garbage. BTW...this movie TRASH is from the same director as BILLY ELLIOTT. Talk about a diverse filmography.
  19. It was a long time ago, but she was definitely at the confluence of danger, date and fun zone.
  20. Sam Wannamaker. VOYAGE OF THE DAMNED (1976) with Welles and IRRECONCIALABLE DIFFERENCES with Barrymore in 1984
  21. Yes...and James Caan is one of my favorite actors. "In the future there will be no wars, but there will be ROLLERBALL!!!!!!!!" It was a stupid movie but I loved it in college and I've loved James Caan ever since. He attended my alma mater, Michigan State University, for 1 year and played football for the great Duffy Daugherty when he was there. He came back to campus from time to time and is a beloved ex-Spartan. In addition, you mentioned Steve Martin. I think it's imlplied that he dies at the end of PENNIES FROM HEAVEN (by hanging), another of my favorite films.
  22. We saw it in a packed theater in Westport, CT. The ending with the flashing strobe left everyone speechless. We got up to leave and no one was speaking...absolutely dead silence.... and this girl I was with had a big smile on her face and said something like, "Wasn't that great??!!" Some people around us looked at her....sort of oddly. I should have known something was amiss right then. 😨
  23. I watched BILLY ELLIOTT (2000) on HBO last night. I loved this movie. It "shows" you the story rather than "tells" you. The acting across the board was excellent. Lots of good kid acting. I thought the story was heartfelt and authentic. Tremendous building to dramatic conclusions....overcoming obstacles. I was particularly touched by the performance of Gary Lewis as the Dad. I've seen him in only a few films but I always recognize him. He has a pretty good filmography. I also liked a lot of the soundtrack performances of T. Rex tunes. I downloaded a handful this morning.
