WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH HELEN (1971) Shelley Winters kills her...which had to be a bit of a switch for her as Winters was regularly killed off in her films. Shelley Winters died a lot! Next: Jack Webb

CASINO ROYALE (1967) I think he died a few times in his movies. He liked to show up later as a ghost...usually for comic relief. Next: Myrna Loy

BTW....when looking more closely into Wally Cox's career I found that he and Marlon Brando were very good friends. Brando spoke very lovingly about him. I thought that was interesting.

Well....I think giving the year makes all the difference. I never would have guessed. LOL. I don't know what's more weird, Wally Cox or Ginger Rogers dying in a movie. Rogers was in 5 movies in 1934. UPPERWORLD, TWENTY MILLION SWEETHEARTS, FINISHING SCHOOL, CHANGE OF HEART and THE GAY DIVORCEE. The only one I know anything about was the last one with her and Fred Astaire. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't kill off Ginger Rogers in an Astaire/Rogers flick...so I eliminated that one right away. FINISHING SCHOOL was about snobbish, prep school girls....hmmm....maybe....but Rogers' character is named "Pony" Ferris. Who would kill off a character named that? I'll eliminate it. TWENTY MILLION SWEETHEARTS is a musical comedy. Nope....can't kill Ginger Rogers in that one. I don't see a synopsis that tells whether Rogers dies in UPPERWORLD or CHANGE OF HEART......but I'm going to guess UPPERWORLD since it sounds more dramatic. Whatever...good one Peebs. If I'm right....Next: Harry Morgan

Hint: It's a movie with Brando, Yul Brunner and Trevor Howard.

#1. THE DOORS (1991) #2 RESTORATION (1995) #3 COURAGE UNDER FIRE (1996) #4 CITY OF ANGELS (1998) What's most interesting to me is that they are all 20-30 year old movies. RESTORATION doesn't seem that old to me. Next: James Caan.....and you can't choose THE GODFATHER or BRIAN'S SONG (even as I think that was a made for tv movie)....but they would be too easy.

THE DROWNING POOL (1975) Her body is discovered by her real life husband, Paul Newman. Try this one: Judd Nelson

Bronson gets him in one movie and Voight in another if that tweaks anyone's interest. I think he does himself in once or twice as well.

I always thought Leo G. Carroll could have played the title role in THE BORIS KARLOFF STORY if they had ever made it.

Me too. Obviously, my first memory of him is from the MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E....Alexander Waverly! As for your quiz....Louis Calhern. I see he was one of the snooty teachers in BLACKBOARD JUNGLE (1955). I recently watched it. Next: THE CIMERRON KID (1952) DEATH TIDE (1955) CRIME AND PUNISHMENT, USA (1959) MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY (1962) THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD (1965)
