What I don't understand is why it's such a big deal that these films are being aired once a week quite late in the night and are only for one month. Would it kill you to expand your horizons for one night? If it would, change the channel or read a book.
To those saying if we want anime watch a cartoon channel, remember that most of those channels are appealing to adolescents not adults, these movies are geared to all ages not just children and are not shown on most of these channels because they are older and not the newest thing on the block.
Also, I don't see what people find so appaling about a channel attempting to expand it's audience base, it's not really selling out (I doubt they're rolling in greenbacks due to this), they're just expanding their audience by showing something new rather than the same old things over and over.
