Raskolnikov

Finally you guys show something other than those "classics" that were made in the time when real acting was basically non-existant. Movies that were incredibly linear with a great lack of depth. Well that's not true at all. Most "classics" are far better then most new movies. But also their are older movies that are quite bad and new movies that are very good. I just like good movies and TCM is one of my favorite channels to find these excellent films. One reason i truly enjoy TCM is the lack of commercial breaks and for the network to show the whole movie without any cuts. Keep up the good work TCM, I'll be watching

These anime's are very great films. In my opinion i believe they deserve to be included on TCM and maybe get a time slot. This month long tribute to Hayao Miyazaki was excellent and they should bring back this month long tribute again(sooner then later).

Thanks TCM for showing these movies. I'm am a younger viewer (26) and have been tuning into your station for many years now. I was surprised to see these animation films being shown, but I love it. I can't wait till next week to see the next movies. Even though a few of these movies are geared for children, I enjoyed the pictures and background. These are truly works of art, some of these scenes and backgrounds were drawn so well, that it seemed real, rather then a drawing (the sun rise at the end of Whisper of the heart). I also may buy Whisper of the heart and My Neighbor Totoro for my young niece because it may teach her a life lesson as well as keep her entertained. Message was edited by: Raskolnikov
