Excuse my ignorane -- but just what do you mean by a "Release Date"? Is that to imply that this movie is being held up in litigation from release to the TV, to the General Public, or Both? -- Thanks for your reply

Yes! I do remember it well! It was about how a "down and out" reporter exploited a man trapped in a mine by letting it drag on for days and making the town a lot of money from all the hullabaloo he made about it in his articles, instead of trying to save the man's life. They both died in the end. (and of course I remember it -- I'm the one who posted the message in the first place!) Now will somebody please reply to it so this newcommer has a purpose being here at all? (Ha! Ha!)

Anyone have any idea when this movie (Ace in the Hole) might run again on TV? It is also known as The Big Carnival. It stars Kirk Douglas and Jan Sterling. Haven/t seen it for many years. Does anyone besides me remember it?
