  2. kingrat, not sure, sounds like an odd trio. May not work at all. But one thing I did notice, the ad says Hope is "at the very peak of his career". I guess they are really saying he won't last much longer. Too bad.
  3. kingrat, Not sure about Three Strangers, since that occurs in the future. ; ) As far as Kate goes, I am hoping she is able to make a screen comeback. I've been reading that she is being getting great reviews on Broadway right now in a comedy called "The Philadelphia Story." Maybe she should buy the rights and sell it to a studio with her starring in it.
  4. We may have a winner, from a PM last night that I didn't see until just now. I will let everyone know tonight when I have a chance to compare to the completed puzzle. LOL, I was hoping it would prove to be harder that it seems to have been.
  5. Oh, man, K, you really know how to get to a guy! That picture of you next to the Pontiac...hard to decide which I would choose. You look like a model on The Price is Right, standing next to a prize. : ) (Honestly, when I saw the photo, you took my breath away.)

  8. I am sure many of you know I have a "1939: Day by Day" thread in the My Favorites forum. In going through my material for that thread, I came across the crossword puzzle below from a movie magazine dated December 1939. I realized this could be a fun challenge for many on the board. Now, you might think you know all the classics and stars from that famous year, but you will find some of the answers not as easy as you at first figured. Remember, this is from 1939 and people back then were more up on the then current films and stars. Print it out and answer all you can. You have one week, and then I will present the completed puzzle. Please feel free to converse here in the thread with others for help. And searching on the internet is allowed. Who will be the first to get them all right?
  9. Shoot, forgot the General Discussions forum has a problem with pictures. Will set it up elsewhere. (It's been months since the site update. Hasn't the photo situation been fixed yet?)

  15. Well, I have to admit I don't understand WB's logic. What with all the titles they have yet to release, they have just annouced for Blu-ray "The Bad Seed." Good film and all, but...huh? Release date is October 11th (must be tying in to Halloween).
