It's a great look at classic movies and also places in Hollywood that bring back the Golden Age of the city!)

I don't, but my guess would be local advertising was paid for by the theater itself. Not sure if they had a % thing worked out as far as advertising costs. However, I do believe that the reason Donald Duck is mentioned in the ads has nothing to do with Disney paying for mentioning him, but rather that theaterowners knew he was more popular than some of the movies being advertised and would bring people in.

from blu-ray.com: In an early announcement to retailers, Kino Video have revealed that they will release on Blu-ray and DVD Russian director Sergei Eisenstein's Stachka a.k.a Strike (1925). Newly remastered. Street date is August 30th.
