  1. anyone remember a movie with a scene about a little girl calling FDR during the depression years from a small town general store and FDR takes the call. Saw this many years ago but cannot place which movie I saw it in.
  2. I saw a movie set during the depression with a young girl who loved FDR. She went into a general store and the folks told her FDR didn't care about her and she decided to phone him and ended talking to him to everyone's astonishment. I thought it was on Paper Moon but when I watched it on Video it was not a scene in the movie. Any ideas what movie this is or was it cut out of the theater version of Paper Moon.
  3. Thanks for the name of this film. Have you seen it lately and how can you get a copy of it? Thanks for the help.
  4. Thanks for the tip. I will give it a try and let you know how it comes out.
  5. Anyone know how to get a copy of this movie. It is the last Western that Errol Flynn made and had a nice cast.
  6. I saw a movie in the sixties that was about a family in the north about the same setting as Little House in the Big Woods. Same time frame. The family has 5 or 6 children and as the movie goes along the parents both die. This leaves the oldest boy to try and keep the family together. In the end he pulls his brothers and sisters around on a sled and gives them away to other families. Very sad ending but worth watching over. I was told this used to be on around the holidays but I have never seen it. Any ideas?
