Does anyone know if there is another version of wutherings heights ? in which the story continues with cathy dying and her daughter growing up to look excatly like her mother i keep asking about a movie where the same actress played two parts in this movie and the story is alot like wutherings heights but it isn't.... I know it is set sometime in the lat 30's or 40's and at the end the male actor dies after seeing the woman he loved face in a window reflection...I know this movie does exsists and i know it is not wutherings heights ........I need a good ole movie person for this stumper

Can anyone help me with an old movie i have been going crazy trying to recall who was in it as well as the name.........The story line is almost like Wuthering Heights except the when the female actress dies she comes back as her young daughter and the same actress plays duel roles..........and the male actor becomes intrested in her because she looks so much like the mother........I know that at the end the male actor dies in a room when he sees the woman he loved reflection in a window it is a very wonderful love story if anyone has the name of this i would be ever so grateful:).............Thank You!!!

I am still trying to figure out this movie title there has to be one very good old movie buff on here:).............. the movie takes place in a old dreary looking house the girl and boy grow up together very close until she starts to want the wealthy life with parties....She marrys a rich man and he goes away to make his wealth he comes back with a young boy and is still very much in love with her.. She still loves him she gets sick and dies he be comes a recluse until one day he see her daughter grown up and she looks just like her mother....The only clue i have to remeber this movie is the same female actress play both parts as the mother and the daughter... This movie is sorrta like wuethrings heights.....Please help im desperate for the title.......

I am driving myself in sane trying to come up with a movie title and who played in it... All i can give you is a little bit of the story line .... it sorta like wutherings heights but it isn't . The father brings home a orphan boy who is raised with his children he is close to the daughter they grow up spending all thier time together as an adult he goes away and comes back to find that she has married and he is kept from seeing her she dies but then she comes back as her daughter the same female actor plays duel roles as the mother and the daughter in this film,,,, Also when this man goes away he comes back with a boy as well......The seen that stands out in my mind is the mother is layed in a glass casket and he comes in to be with her i can't think of any more but im desperate for the title and actors this is a good stumper for a real old movie buff please email me at krisbo38@aol.com before i go in sane lol
