    My Top 10

Hello, my name is Jillian – and I’m a message board / blogging newbie. (But a long-time TCM viewer!) This is my first post (here and on my blog, The Classic Film Connection). I hope to use both spaces to connect with fellow classic movie fans. As a means of introduction, I thought I’d share my personal list of the top ten best films I’ve seen so far in my lifetime. 3. Have a friend who collects Dalmatian dog items and wanted to find her a classic movie that has a dalmatian it... I tried searching at IMDB using Keyword 'Dalmatian' but no luck beyond "101" ... even if Dalmatian only makes one appearance I would still be interested in knowing name & year of movie... thank you anyone who can help! 4. Woke up this morning to the Google Doodle celebrating Marlene Dietrich's 116th birthday today. Maybe there are a lot more classic film fans out there than we think. Hopefully a new generation (and more to come) will become classic film buffs and TCM will continue forever--uncut and commercial-free.
  5. Hi everyone, I have a couple of questions that hopefully some of you classic film experts can help me with. I have been a huge fan of classic films for years. I've also been a writer and am going to self-publish my work next year. To that end, I launched my author website which includes a blog where, among other topics, I write about classic films. Up until now, I've been using images from classic films from the usual places that have public domaine/Creative Commons images (Google images with filtering, Flickr with filtering, Wikimedia Commons). However, sometimes it's a challenge to find
  6. Test your classic film chops! I recently bought a scrapbook filled with pictures and notes of movie stars from the Silent Era-1930s. Trying to identify the following:
