  3. Greetings! My name is Jennifer (screen name here is Auriane) and I am looking for TCM Backlot members in the San Francisco Bay Area to join me in starting the TCM Backlot Local Chapter here. I've been a classic movie watcher really since TCM began. In the 90's I'd plop myself down on my couch on Sunday mornings with a bowl of my favorite cereal and watch all morning. There are also some neo-noir films, too. I'm very disappointed that they left Heat (1995) off the bill. THAT I would've loved to see on the big screen again.

For those who live in (or near) the San Francisco Bay Area, Stanford Theatre has released their summer film schedule, which includes a few Films Noir and those with noir elements such as: The Letter Scarlet Street Beat the Devil Witness for the Prosecution Of Human Bondage For those who don't already know about Stanford Theatre, it is a 1925 movie palace that shows only classic films.
