This was a fun movie about Jean Lafitte, the privateer, who helped the Americans beat the British during the War of 1812. Sadly, it is a bit forgettable, but the great actors in this movie saved it from being a total bust!
This is a sweet romance film but ultimately forgettable. I would recommend watching it once...but probably not again. Please leave a comment or a like! I love hearing from you all.
This movie had all the right ingredients for a great romance movie! Please watch the movie if you have not because I couldn't find a single flaw in it! This is one to remember (especially the crazy iceberg scene towards the end of the movie). It has everything we all love about the classics! Hello All TCMers, Kudos to TCM for their upcoming June/July "Summer Of Darkness" film noir festival, starting in June on Friday nights, with a free online course concerning the noir era available as well!! Excellent idea, especially for those of us who would love to buy every film from that era, but can't afford to do so.
