Former Republican Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has vowed to work to defeat US Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, in his upcoming primary reelection bid, because he has refused to support the presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump. Palin told Jake Tapper on CNN's State of the Union that she would support Ryan's opponent in the upcoming Republican Wisconsin Primary for the Speaker's House seat. Palin characterized Ryan's refusal to support Trump as being disrespectful of the will of the American people. Also she threatened that Ryan was soon to be "Cantored"-- referring to the fate of the former Republican House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, who was defeated in a 2014 primary by a candidate who was politically to his right. Ryan's opponent in the Republican primary, Wisconsin business man Paul Nehlen, has already stated his support for Donald Trump's presidential nomination. Palin believes that Nehlen's grass roots business credentials make him more in touch with everyday working Americans, then DC party regulars like Paul Ryan. Palin came out in support of Donald Trump's presidential bid in January.
