  1. Hello all, Are the materials for this course still online somewhere? (Or is there a kind soul who may be able to provide them?) A recent trip to Los Angeles inspired me to revisit film noir in a comprehensive for the first time in a decade and Summer of Darkness is perfect for what I want, but obviously long since passed. I’ve emailed TCM with the same question but haven’t received a reply. Any tips out there, even if it is just a syllabus? All I’ve found is the TV schedule. Many thanks in advance for any suggestions!
  2. http://www.bfi.org.uk/news-opinion/news-bfi/features/infographic-what-makes-film-noir?utm_content=bufferfac78&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitterbfi&utm_campaign=buffer Came across this infographic today from BFI. Thoughts?
  3. This will be a great day, even though some are not technically Noir. Highly recommend Kansas City Confidential, Macao, The Narrow Margin and His Kind of Woman. I plan to watch Roadblock for the first time as Charles McGraw is featured and he is also in Narrow Margin and His Kind of Woman.
  4. Hi everybody, If you're looking for Film Noir flicks to watch between Fridays on TCM there are quite a few streaming on Netflix and Amazon Prime. A quick search revealed Scarlet Street, Raw Deal, You Only Live Once and My Gun is Quick on Netflix and Cry Danger, Pitfall and T-Men on Amazon Prime. If you find others, please feel free to post them here.
