This is my first post so hopefully it is in the right section. I found this item in an old Sonora music box we inherited and it obviously has something to do with the Disney Silly Symphony "Grasshopper and the Ants" which was released in 1934. My question is what is it? I'm thinking it is a leader strip for a 70 mm film (because that's about how wide it is). However I doubt even Disney would have been making 70mm animated films at that time. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Normally anything Disney is valuable and I don't want to just throw it out if it is.
I have decided to go back and watch/re-watch all of Disney's animated and live action movies in order by release year (except for Disney Channel Original Movies & straight-to-video sequels), so I thought I would go ahead and start a thread in case anyone is interested and wants to see my reviews and trivia as I progress. If anyone wants to contribute to this, feel free.
