I'm a big fan of LILLIAN GISH. She was an acting original and one of our greatest film stars, as well as a tireless champion of silent movies and their restoration (and she hailed from my home state of Ohio). My late cousin, a silent film collector and film historian, actually met her in the 1970s. I consider it a minor sin that her and her sister Dorothy's names were removed last spring from that theatre at Bowling Green State University. Anyway, I just learned that Gish wrote and directed a silent that was released almost 100 years ago: Remodeling Her Husband, starring Dorothy. The

This Victor Sjostrom film staring Lillian Gish and Lars Hanson is unique. With a plot that draws you in and several marvelously filmed scenes that are pure art, The Wind (1928) is very enjoyable. Lillian was wonderful as usual, I thought the setting and perspective was very neat; I really loved how it can be discussed so much and enjoyed reading different interpretations of the film. I liked it very much, but there was one thing that bothered me. The ending. If you haven't seen it yet, I'm about to give away the ending, so you might not want to read the rest. The happy ending seemed so abrupt

Hello everyone. ClassicMovieRankings hasn't been TCM forums in a few days, but I wanted to let people know who are fans of Lillian Gish that he completed her page: http://www.ultimatemovierankings.com/lillian-gish-movies/comment-page-1/#comment-17319 It is his quest to do all 50 AFI legends.
